ACES continues to hum along nicely. This week we welcome Vincent Halim to the team. He has also settled in well – even though he did not bring biscuits on his first day.
Thank you to those who have sent through suggestions for template SOAs – please send your suggestions too if you have not already. In case you are the one person who did not read my update last week, the ‘harmonised SOA’ component of ACES will provide template SOAs that will have your details pre-loaded into the template. You download these as a Word document and then edit them as you wish. We are looking to have as many such templates as possible, reducing the need for advisers to reinvent any wheels when they sit down to write out their advice. So, send through your ideas.
This week we have been also been developing ways to embed external media within our advisers websites in a way that makes appropriate use of that media but does not take people away from our advisers’ sites. This will allow the adviser websites to ‘stand on the shoulders of giants’ as Isaac Newton put it. We can include high quality materials from all around the world but people will not navigate away from your site to do so.
You can see an example of the technology here, by reading today’s blog on one of our adviser’s websites: http://www.financialplanningservicesbrisbane.com.au/2016/09/08/25-years-of-economic-growth/
While you are there, check out the other blogs that have been published this week. http://www.financialplanningservicesbrisbane.com.au/our-diary-notes/. These blogs are being published already on all websites that are up and running, and we are establishing new sites as we speak.
If you would like us to do a website for you, please simply complete the order form here: http://aces.dover.com.au/get-started/.
Keep watching this space and we will keep you posted.
